Press releases may be considered for coverage involving new businesses, expansions, public events, government announcements, community initiatives, awards and recognitions, nonprofit activities, construction projects, leadership changes and other matters of legitimate local interest.

Photographs and Video
Quincy Current welcomes photographs and video related to legitimate local news and community events.
By submitting visual material, you represent that you own the material or have permission to provide it for possible publication.
Please identify the photographer whenever possible and tell us when and where the image or video was recorded.
Submission does not automatically grant Quincy Current unlimited ownership of the material. Any broader licensing or commercial use may be discussed separately when appropriate.

Please identify the article involved, explain specifically what you believe is incorrect and provide documentation or other supporting information when available.
Quincy Current will review legitimate correction requests promptly.
When a meaningful factual error is confirmed, we will correct the information and, when appropriate, include a correction or editor’s note explaining what was changed.
Minor spelling, grammar or formatting corrections that do not change the substance of a story may be made without a formal correction notice.
New information added to a developing story is generally considered an update rather than a correction.
