QUINCY, Ill. — October 31, 2026 — Happel Inc., REALTORS is proud to announce that Jan Smith, ABR, AHWD, HFR, MRP, PSA, has been installed as Secretary/Treasurer of Capital Area REALTORS for the 2026–2027 leadership year. Her term began October 1, 2026.

Smith’s service places a Quincy real estate professional in a key officer position within an association representing more than 1,000 members involved in all aspects of the real estate industry.

Capital Area REALTORS serves members across the region, including Adams County, and supports the profession through education, resources and a commitment to ethical practice. Its work helps real estate professionals build the knowledge and skills they need to serve buyers, sellers and their communities.
