Sweet Tweet’s Set to Open at New Maine Street Location
QUINCY, Ill. After months of renovations and anticipation, Sweet Tweet’s is preparing to welcome customers into its colorful new home at 3633 Maine St. in Quincy with a soft opening planned for this week, with hours of 11am to 9pm Monday through Sunday.
The new location represents a major transformation for the locally known sweet shop. What was once a credit union building has been renovated into a bright, modern ice cream and candy destination designed to give customers more room to sit, stay and enjoy their treats.
Sweet Tweet’s will continue offering the freeze-dried candy that helped build its following, while the new space also allows for an expanded candy selection and a larger focus on ice cream.
The move brings with it a lineup of new ice cream creations, giving customers another reason to stop in and see what the renovated space has become.
Unlike the business’s previous setup, the new Maine Street location includes dine-in seating as well as an outdoor patio, giving customers the option to enjoy their ice cream inside or outside when the weather cooperates.
The new shop combines the playful personality Sweet Tweet’s has developed over the years with a more permanent and expanded space built around the full dessert experience.
The soft opening will give the Sweet Tweet’s team an opportunity to welcome customers into the new location while putting the finishing touches on months of planning and renovation.
